There Mission:

To satisfy even the most demanding automotive performance enthisiast with the NEED for SPEED.   The guys at swift-racing.com are "nuts" about power
and performance and with keeping the concerns of  reliability, control, safety and normal everyday drivability in mind.   SRT use only the highest quality
products and materials in our manufacturing process.   Therefore no matter what peeps are craving for SRT has the solution.

WHAAAAAAAAATS UUUUUP!!!   All you Toyota race heads......welcome to INSIDE SCOOP once again.  This weekend of July 23, 2000, my boy Darren and I took
a trip to Maryland to try and get some inside scoop + Pic for all you Div1 browsers.  The day was beautiful.  The races were heated and the girls were HH
HHOOOOTTTT.  It was a pity I ran out of film, but not before I got some inside scoop on this wicked 98'Lexus.  As Darren and I were walking around
checking out the scene + taking some PICS ...we noticed 2 beautiful GS400 entering the compound making a familiar whistling sound. But what really
caught my eyes was the huge apexi intercooler stuffed tightly behind the bumper with a cut out for air.  It even had the  performance factory crew
taking notice.  I pushed Darren out the way and gave the driver of the black GS a hand sign to wait until I got a shot. he obliged and so began the inside
scoop.

I first saw this car at English town two weeks ago beating up on a JZ with a 13.6.  I took a few snaps, but couldn't find the owner to interrogate him til today.

The Owner is Mohammad
The project:  A 98 GS 400 Lexus

Mohammed is one of the top dogs from the Swift Racing Camp, based in Maryland.  Mohammed told me they fabricated everything I saw on the car,
except the re-injectors and apexi intercooler.  The SC is not theirs, but it was modified by Swiff racing in order to work with the lexus setup.  This
particular GS set cost an arm + leg.  To do  your LeX, like Mohammed's ..You probably have to sell your  house, dog, cats, divorce your wife, and break
into the kids college fund in order to pay for this.  Don't start panicking just yet, because there are less expensive units and combinations that's
available for those with little less.

STAGE 1: Kit is said to produce 80+ hp @ 4psi

STAGE 2: Kit showed a dyno chart on their site producing 376hp at the
                  wheels and 314FTlbs torque @7psi

STAGE 3:  info not yet available

This particular one passed all stages, so you know Mohammed went all out.  Mohammed told me his motor was built to handle 2000hp, so all the internals
were upgraded, but the specs are secrets which we at DivisionOne can understand.

* The rods are custom built by cunningham rods.
*The Pistons are from Ross,  custom of course.
*The head was port + polish, valve springs + valve upgraded + other secrets. So far the cams are the only things that  are stock in the motor.

The SC unit is from procharger. It looked like 1/2 turbo/1/2 Sc, and it even blow off like a turbo.  The unit was modified so it could be coupled with the
Lexus intake system, which was also modified.  I couldn't get a good shot of the crank pulley, because of some safety features on my camera.
But....take it from me, "it look wicked."  Its a huge double unit made form aluminum.  The next time Ill bring the Digital.  The tranny was modified to handle
the power and deliver it to the ground.   Inside the car you could see a black box which is most secretive.   Mohammed said, it control everything.
The rotors+Calipors were custom built for Mohammed's lexus by AP Racing (Didn't get PICS, ran out of film).

The car made 2 runs for the day and both runs were impressive.  Since Mohammed keep missing gears and still tinkering with the fuel mixture+SC setup.
At English town he ran a 13.6 at a mere 7psi.  First run at MIR Track- was 12.74 and 109.4 mph with boots set at 12psi, and that's after he missed shift
and stepped on the brakes.  After that run he  went back to  the pitt and pulled out a box with different size SCpully and belts to go along.  He  puts
on a smaller pulley on The SC and went back out and  ran a 12.44 @14psi  after he missed shifted again.  How did I know?  I could hear the engine wail
from where I was standing and the RPM bouncing off the limitter.  Otherwise, I think this car is capable of mid to low 11s, and  Mohammed thinks so as
well.  For any other info. check out www.swift-racing.com  or  for cooperation  responses contact Mark email:  lexlife@msn.com.
