First car that caught my attention Saturday morning
was this clean 99 Corolla making a lot of rumble. I spoke with them
and they lift the hood for me to take a snap shot. Custom dual exhaust
with nice dress up engine bay. .
This very well graphically designed Corolla was
a winner in my book. Trust me, these pics don't even show how well
detailed the sparked silver looks.
I seen this AE92 Corolla in the parking lot as
well, and we had a chat about his clean nicely dropped rolla. To
find a clean jap spec 4AGE power plant.
This IS300 was a show stopper with its carbon
fiber graphics.
This car can fool you from the back with it's
supra tail lights but if you look again, you will notice its a Celica with
lot's of custom work done to it.
The Venom Tacoma is sporting a twincharged 2JZ
supra motor and ran a 8.23 Saturday on 5 cylinders. The Venom
team took the motor apart and repaired it for Sunday and there quickest
run was a 7.91@168mph.
Craig Paisley ran an impressive 8.32@164mph Saturday
and then on Sunday he lauched a scary wheely at the line that looked as
if the car was going to flip on its top. Imagine what he can make this
car do if he was to put in his race motor.
First event where I see jap motors on display
for sale at an event. Yes, here is a 4AGZE sitting on the ground
and on the other side was a 20V.
