Atco Raceway
June 3, 2001

Atco Raceway in which I refer to as the track of the old school toyota's were making a killing on the track.  All setup with the small hemi 3TC motor turbocharged pumping lots of boost and making passes between low 9's through to low 11's.  We had a great time at this event, so enjoy the pics.

Here is a couple of pics of Luis Corujo AE86 Corolla that will feature soon on DivisionOne's Inside Scoop, giving all juicy
information about the cars setup.  Luis best run is a 10.83@132mph and he backed off way before the finish line due to
the fact he does not have a 9.99 NHRA competition license yet.

We met with a group of toyota enthusiast from Washington/Maryland area that came all the way to Atco to represent there old school yotas.  I really appreciated seeing this 81 Corolla dropped sporting this levin nose from Japan.  The owner has a 3TC power plant and has plans of turbocharging it within a couple of weeks.  sweet!!!   The two red GTS were clean presenting a nice headlight peekaboo show.

Here is just an example of a what to look for on the Inside Scoop. A wicked setup inside and out.   "Pistoncita"

This Starlet was down for the day because of  a blown computer, but we have all detailed information coming soon to the Inside Scoop.

What a Datsun with a toyota plate on the back?  I had to investigate.  The owner of this creation called "Carlito's way" is Jamie.  After
a bad slip on the track causing the Starlet to flip and smash into the wall.  Jamie crawled out ok enough to run his yota Datsun with the same exact 3TC setup down the track  making a  9.28@141mph pass.
