Hello race fans!!  I bet you thought we forgotten about these early summer events.  We at Dv1 assure everyone that we will post all coverage that has been attended by us.  We have been very busy with other things associated with Dv1, but now we are on a catch up mode and will be up to date soon.  We apologize to anyone that may have lost his or her patience with us and we can only promise you that the best is yet to come.

We attended IDRC All Star Nationals, which was their first event on the east coast.  A lot of racers participated especially old school Toyota's in which these pages will reflect their presents.

Running Bracket.... Anie Nitro's Racing

Corolla's in the Outlaw Class consisted of Jose Mendez who laid down a 9.091@145mph with his 1980 Corolla known as "Caneca Racing"

Sandy Ganzalez "Sandy Racing" ran a 9.547@140mph with his 1982 Corolla in the Outlaw Class.

We met Jose A Ramos with his killer 81 "EL TERROR" Corolla.  This was his second debut show and he blazed the quarter pass with a 8.762@150mph also in the Outlaw Class.

Also running bracket was Luis Burgos "El Loco" with a Full chassis 82 Starlet (weber) + turbo ...

Michael Importa runs in the Pro Class with his 93 Tercel. He blazed the quarter pass with a 9.583@155mph.

We found this 1968 Corolla know as "All Country" running 10sec bracket.  Nice nimble and compact with a 10 second punch.

Vinny Ten debut his new 95 Supra running in the BFGoodrich Tire Street Class.  With bad reaction times, his best pass was a 9.912@145mph.

As Earl Young was showing off his award winning 3000GT, we saw and met his daughter Daniel and asked her to take a few pics for the site.  Daniel, Please drop us an email, we would like to talk to you about modeling for Dv1 if your interested.
