10th Annual Panamerican Nationals
Atco Raceway New Jersey
July 19-20, 2003

Welcome to the biggest Import event of the year, the classic Panamerican Nationals USA vs Puerto Rico battle.  Each year the battle resides at Atco Raceway  New Jersey and the race park fills up quickly.  This is a time when every seat and every parking space at Atco race park becomes taken so coming early for Panamerican Nationals is a good idea in order to get a good birds eye view of the action.

If you love the loud sound of a rotory engine at 1200 RPM with out a muffler, this is where you wanted to be.  Panamerican brings the classic Piston vs Rotary crowd together and the cars are made of different styles with up to date technology.  The Toyota Starlet/ Corolla and Mazda RX?/RX7 is 98% race car of choice for this classic event.....  Here were a few tents we stopped by for snap shots.

Some of the cars from Team Puerto Rico:  Ileana Racing, Pito Racing Iris,

The slant nose Stalet by DL Racing "Nahiaphanie"

Team USA:  Ralph Fuentas Turbocharged 1.8 Tercel....  Gringo Racing !

Brandon Alvarez 86 Corolla, powered by Toyota's 3SGTE...PSI Racing !

Jose Mendez orange Corolla by Caneca Racing, don't let this clarm settled look fool you.

Jose Ramos yellow Corolla "EL Terror"  and the amazing 3SGTE powered Paseo "Chivi King" owned by Rivera Oyola.

This full interior 82 Corolla is owned by Analdo Vergo from Massachusetts.

Analdo show us his time slip of a 9.7 run @ 141mph.

Analdo cousin own this tan Starlet that has the same exact engine and turbo setup.

Teamtoyminator camped for this 3 day event and we managed to get a few pics of Carols right hand drive AE86 Tureno on the transporter.
